Publications he's written have earned awards from CASE, Higher Education Marketing Report, the Public Relations Society of America, and Print, among others. He formerly headed communications and strategic planning at Goucher College. He has a bachelor's degree from The College of William & Mary and a master's degree from Oregon State University.
